Connecting your Facebook Account through Buffer

We created a Buffer Integration on our platform, so that you can bee (🐝) able to also publish on platforms like Instagram and Google+, which we don’t support on their own at the moment. However, this integration can also be useful if you don’t have complete access to a social profile, regardless if it’s Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn, but you do have access to a Buffer profile that has the profiles connected to it. 

To connect a profile through Buffer, you first need to have that social profile connected on Buffer. If you don't have a Buffer account yet, you can create one, here

You can create a new account by connecting a social profile or by entering an email address and password. 

Once you have an account with Buffer, go ahead and connect your Facebook page/profile (in case you didn't sign up using your Facebook). You can reach the "Connect a Social Network" page by clicking the + next to "Accounts" on your left, or by clicking the "Facebook" tab under the Accounts section. Once you're there connect your page/profile/group

Once your Facebook is connected, come back to app.SocialBee.io. Then, you need to go to your User Settings menu and select WorkspaceProfiles. (You can do this whenever you want to connect a new social profile). Once you’ve accessed your Profiles page, you will be able to see any connected profiles (if you have any). 

Below, you’ll see a panel that allows you to connect social profiles from all the supported platforms. Click connect via Buffer to either Connect Instagram or any other supported platform you may need. 

When doing this, you'll be shown a list of all the social profiles you've previously connected to Buffer, including those that aren't Instagram.

Once you click Add, your social profile will be connected to SocialBee and you can start creating your posts and schedule.

A different way you can connect any of your (already connected) profiles through Buffer, follow these next steps:

Go to Workspace Profiles and select the gear icon on the social profile for which you want to change the posting provider.

Then make sure you have your Buffer account connected in Posting Setup.

Authorize SocialBee's access to your Buffer account.

Select the right social profile from your Buffer account.

You can go back to Profiles to double-check that the setup has been completed.

That's it!

Now all content and posting settings will still be in SocialBee, but the posting itself will be done through your Buffer account.
