Posting on Facebook Groups
With SocialBee, you can also publish posts to your Facebook Groups. This can make it easier for you to schedule recurring posts by adding them to an evergreen category or schedule different types of posts to groups you own.
To connect a Facebook Group to your SocialBee Account, go to your Profiles Page, and scroll down to the bottom. There you'll see a button to connect Facebook Groups.
Click on the Group button and it will take you to a page that contains all of the groups you are an Admin of. There, click Add on the groups you want to add to your SocialBee account.
Once your Group is connected to SocialBee, you need to go to your Facebook Group and add the SocialBee app to your Group settings. To do so, go to your Facebook Group and Click on "...More" to find "Edit Group Settings", like in the screenshot below:
Once you're in the Settings Menu, find the "Apps" Section and click on "Add Apps".
Next, you'll have to look for the SocialBee App. To do so, just type in SocialBee in the App Searchbar and our App will show up. Once you find our app, click on it to add it to your group.
You'll have to confirm that you want to add this app to your group.
And then, you'll get notified that the App has been added.
Now that the SocialBee app is connected to your Facebook Group you can successfully share posts through SocialBee.
Previously connected Groups
️ You still need to add the SocialBee app to your Group, even if you already have the group connected to SocialBee. ️
If you already have your Group connected to the SocialBee Platform, you'll also need to re-connect it once you've added the app in Facebook. Otherwise, you'll get an error saying that you have Insufficient Permissions.
So first, add the SocialBee app to your Group's settings, following the steps above. Then, go to your Profiles tab and find the Gear icon next to your Group. Click on it and then click "Re-connect" to make sure that your Group settings are updated.
Now you'll be able to post content to your Groups.
