Posting on Facebook Groups
With SocialBee, you can also publish posts to your Facebook Groups as your Facebook Personal Profile. This can make it easier for you to schedule recurring posts by adding them to an evergreen category or schedule different types of posts to groups you own.
Adding the SocialBee app to your Group
Once your Group is connected to SocialBee, you need to go to your Facebook Group and add the SocialBee app to your Group settings. To do so, go to your Facebook Group and scroll down from the left side menu until you see "Settings".
After you have accessed the Settings menu, find the "Apps" section, and click on the crayon on the right side of this section. Next, you'll have to look for the SocialBee App. To do so, just type in SocialBee in the search bar and our app will show up.
Once you find our app, click on it to add it to your group. You'll have to confirm that you want to add this app to your group. And then, you'll get notified that the App has been added.
Adding a Group to SocialBee
To connect a Facebook Group to your SocialBee Account, from your SocialBee Dashboard, scroll to the bottom and click on "Group" under the Facebook section.
You will be prompted to authorize SocialBee if this is the first group you connect to our platform. Make sure you're logged into a Personal Profile that is an admin of the group you want to connect.
If you cannot click on a group to add it (or see a red, warning sign), it means that the SocialBee app hasn't been added to your group. What you will have to do is follow the steps above and then click on the retry button right next to
Insufficient Permission for this Operation
Occasionally, you will notice that some posts will fail for the following reason: "Insufficient permission for this operation".
- Go to your group's settings and remove the SocialBee app;
- Refresh your page and add the SocialBee app to your group's settings again;
- Return to your SocialBee Dashboard and reconnect the Facebook Group.
