How Do I Use the AI Post Generator?

SocialBee's AI Assistant will help you generate content based on the prompts you enter.

With SocialBee's AI Assistant, you can:

1. Create captions
2. Generate images

How do I generate captions with the AI Assistant?

Follow the next steps to open the AI Assistant:

1. From your SocialBee Dashboard, click on "Add Post".
2. Click on the AI icon at the bottom-right corner of your text box.
3. From the list, select "Generate captions".

A new modal will open, and you will see 3 columns:

1. A list of prompt templates categorized by social media platforms, business types, actions, and more;
2. Your prompt column, where you can add and tweak your prompt, as well as select the tone of voice and the number of posts to generate;
3. Overview column, where you can watch a demo of our tool.

Use prompt templates to create captions

If you are not sure where to get started, you can begin by using our list of prompt templates. 

Click on the interactive screen below to see the steps, or scroll down to the written instructions.

1. After you open the AI Assistant, click on the template category you want to get started with.
2. Select a template that you think would be most useful. 
3. (Optional) Tweak the template to get the best results.
4. Choose your tone of voice.
5. Select the number of posts to generate.
6. Click "Generate".
7. Select the preferred results from the right-side column and click on "Use selected results" to import them into the Post Editor.

Use your own AI prompts to create captions

If you do not want to use any of our prompts, we recommend collapsing this column, by clicking on the arrow:

Once you did this, you will have more room to work on your prompt. 

To learn how to use your own prompts inside the AI Assistant, click on the interactive screen below to see the steps, or scroll down to the written instructions.

1. In the text box, you can add your prompt and some text or links to help the AI generate a post.
2. Select the tone of voice, which will change the tone of your post, on a scale from funny to formal.
3. Choose to include or exclude hashtags and emojis.
4. Choose the number of posts to generate.
5. Select the captions you like, then click "Use selected results". For each selected result, a new variation of the post will be created.

Once you do that, finish up your post as you normally would. Add your profile(s), tweak the generated post according to your needs, and save it to SocialBee. 

How do I use the AI Assistant to generate images?

Click on the interactive screen below to see the steps, or scroll down to the written instructions.

1. Start from your post editor. Click on the AI button at the bottom-right corner of your text box, and select "Generate images". 
2. Add your prompt to the text box.
3. Select the number of images to generate.
4. Click on "Generate".
5. The generated images will appear on the right side of the screen. Tick the box of each one you want to add and click "Use selected results". 

Once your images are imported into the post editor, you can continue editing your post as usual.
