What do I need to get started?
Want to work with SocialBee? Then get your Social Media Profiles ready, because you don’t need much to do so. You can either follow our Onboarding Wizard or read below for what you need to do:
First, you need to connect your Social Profiles to our platform, so we can give you what your heart desires - results. To connect your profile you will need to log in on SocialBee, then scroll all the way to the bottom of your page where you will find all the profiles you can connect to our platform.
While scrolling, you'll be able to see all of the profiles you've already connected to our platform. At the bottom, you will also be able to see a panel that allows you to connect social profiles from platforms like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google My Business. Click the button that matches the platform you want to connect.
You’ll be able to connect any of the following:
- Twitter Profile
- Facebook Personal Profile (through our mobile app*)
- Facebook Page
- Facebook Group
- LinkedIn Profile
- LinkedIn Company Page
- Instagram Account (through our mobile app*)
- Instagram Account (through Buffer**)
- Instagram Account (through Hootsuite***)
- Pinterest Account (through Hootsuite***)
- Google My Business Location
*You can publish posts to your Instagram account and Facebook Personal Profile via our mobile reminders app. Read more about our mobile app.
**You can connect your Instagram account through Buffer. Read more about our Buffer Integration.
***We can only connect Pinterest accounts through Hootsuite at this time. Read more about our Hootsuite Integration.
Once you’ve connected your profiles, you need to start creating the content you want to set out. If you’ve chosen a Concierge Service, your designated bee will do this for you. Otherwise, please refer to our Content Documentation to see how to create your posts and your categories.
Are you all done with your content? Time to schedule it for posting. If you’ve chosen a Concierge Service, your designated bee will do this for you, according to the best practices or your specifications. Otherwise, please refer to our Posting Documentation.
Put things on running
Now you’re all set up! All that’s left to do is enable your content so it gets published. On your main dashboard, you have an overview of your accounts and what’s enabled on each. You can click the toggles to enable or disable the Content.
On this page, you'll be able to go to the Posting Setup for each profile, get quickly redirected to the View Your Next Posts page, or reconnect profiles (when it's time). From here, you can also set the timezone for each of your profiles to match your needs.
